There were many situations worse in life,
Which made me nothing but weep and cry,
When utmost tragedies crept into my life
I would say,” Help me out, O God!”
The peace in my heart has gone
The smile on my face lost
The spirit in my life vanished
There was miasma of darkness surrounding
And I felt as though I was crucified
I would say,” Help me out, O God”.
Lesions may vanish, but words prick the soul
I was wrapped in a world of darkness
I kept wondering as to what happened to me?
Why am I put in this state?
Am I polemical or idiotic
I would say,” Help me out, O God”.
To my surprise there was a bright light
A feeble voice from my soul asked,” Is that God?”
The bright light in a soothing tone spoke,
I heard those confiding words and saw a witty future
Only a spoonful of words charged my spirit
A loving cuddle made me feel as if I was in the womb,
The feeble voice from my soul at last voiced out
It asked,” Who are you angel?”
It said,” I am your friend with a glitter in the eyes”
Filled with tears I replied,” You are a sorcerer,
You made my life precious and wizardy”
Snatching her hands I replied,” I wont let you out
Of my life. I wont”
I felt the soothing words and the meaning of friendship then.
It’s a spontaneous and unreluctant act voiced out
Purely for a friend. Nothing else!!!

NDTO lesson - Ram's Blog
Often the disclaimers and notices are placed either in subatomic fonts and/or at a trivial place. I thought I would get that straighted out first!
'Any reference, citation, remarks made on any individuals is purely and truly not a coincident and is definitely not unintentional. Any deterioration to the quality of the language, grammar and typos are unintentional though '
How do you expect me to stumble upon names, references to any incidents which I never wanted to share with you..
This blog is not organized or harmonious in any manner what so ever, trust me (At least one time please)! I have tried penning down(should I say, keying in) my thoughts which flows in as I type this blog..so its a collage of my thoughts, expect it to be incongruent.
Thanks to the 'Opportunities' supplement, it was in my final year when I really came to know that there are lot more useful sections in a newspaper apart from the sports segment. The first day when I completed glancing through the whole paper, I piled them up haphazardly and was set to move on. Just then I heard a voice "Don't leave it like that, put them back in a way you would like it to be when you pick it for reading next time". That was my Dad. That was a simple statement, but I learnt a very important lesson that day - "Never do things to others which you don't want to be done to you!". From there on, my 'Never Do To Others' list has been growing and I must say, I have taken some actions to address the listed out things as well..
For an instance, I don't like to use the office toilet closets if its soiled or in case of spillage. Based on my NDTO lesson, I just ensure that I don't leave it in that condition after I use it!
This has also lead me to series of wishes to be added to that list and I'm trying to address them all. Just listing a few from the list:
- I don't like myself to be banged by the ODC/Restroom doors by someone from the other side!
- I don't like someone throwing used cans, dirts at me from a Bus as I cruise in parallel on my bike!
- I don't like people blocking my way from outside as I try to get out of the office elevator!
- I don't like to be disturbed by people answering their personal phone calls in loud voices at office!
What can I do to avoid such things being done to me? First thing first, I must ensure I don't do it to others. Newton said, every action has equal and opposite reaction. As for me, this translates to: 'I hit someone while opening a door, someone else is gonna hit me while they open the door someday!'. So, I just take extra care by knocking the door couple of times before I open it. Just to make sure that I don't hurt someone..
For a moment, I thought I should call my father a genius for elucidating Newton's law in such a non-complicated statement. But wait..this NDTO doesn't work always. I say, I don't like to be loaded with work.. So going by NDTO, should I not allocate works to me subordinates? Now I know, he ain't a Genius. He for some reason thought that I will be a good engineering professional..So, he is not always right! Perhaps he had a vision, vision about the safety of mankind. What if he made me a Civil Engineer? What if he made me a Medico? Imagine the plight of my customers/patients? May be thats why he thought that, me becoming a S/W engineer was perhaps the safest thing for mankind :)
Talking about Vision, I would call myself a visionary too! I have for some time (2 years to be exact) envisioned that release management is by itself dealt by two managers: "Sthanu/Prabhu - For Build/deliverable releases" and "Deepak/Sasi - For Resource releases" ;) And now Wipro is going in for a similar change across the organization(not exactly the same context though)..Am I not a visionary or atleast 'half visionary'?
Thats not just one thought which made me call myself visionary! I have few more..On my way to office, often I see posters boasting "T.Rajendar is speaking", "Kalaingar is speaking".. I say, whats the big deal? Where they dumb till date?
I wonder about few other such things as well..For instance, why can't a 'FULL' be 1000ml, why do they want to complicate things here?
If the Electrical energy fed into lights and fan are converted to heat and wind energies respectively, why can't we reuse those energies and keep the light and fan running continuously? After all, Newton said, energy can neither be created, nor destroyed!
Weird thoughts.. is it? Hmm, thats why my friends fondly call me NSNS.
Thanks for reading through this whole lot of Non-Stop Non-Sense..

"In Search Of Happiness" - Durba
Every piece of happiness after a sequence of struggles and failures makes a day memorable. Moving forward, priority changes. So one memorable day becomes less memorable than a newer one and fades away.
When I was a student, I thought, if I score well, my parents will feel proud of me, everyone around will appreciate me and I'll be very happy. I always remained among the top ten in class, but it never felt as nice as I thought. Then I felt if I can earn my own bread and let my family get rid of some responsibilities, it might buy me the happiest moment. I started earning and supporting my family. Still now I remember my dad's glittering eyes after I showed him my first appointment letter. Slowly I realized, a engineering post graduate, earning five figure salary but not so good looking middle class girl brings lots of worries for parents, alliances rejected me because of my qualification, my salary. My mom didn't even allow me to prepare for higher studies. I believed some person should choose me, knowing me soul deep. But life hardly works that way. So I tried to buy the happiness for my family, getting married to a man of my parents choice. Now I realized my life partner's happiness can only make me happy. So I tried to be a good wife, stretching myself more than I can afford. But It didn't earn me much. All of a sudden I started feeling a new life blossoming inside me. With a new job, new place, new locale, new responsibilities I was already in distress, still my heart started singing. It was 11th Feb, 2007. After a full day of pain, I was gifted with a pink doll.
Nowadays I am loaded with lots of responsibilities at office and home. Frequently I miss meals, forget important tasks, lose control over emotions and at last mess up. But the moment I feel lost in dark, two blinking eyes and an 8-teeth smile charges me up for the next. Now I never regret for anything. I think this is the happiness I was looking for, which never sets a target for me to meet but helps me to carry myself with the pace of life.
I have at last found what I am destined for. Arka, my baby, my soul, just be with me and smile back to me for the rest of my life... rest I'll take care...
